American Corner : EAP

Hi, Guys! How are you ?
I’d like to share my experience in American Corner. It’s located in 2^nd Floor, UPT Library of Tanjungpura University, Pontianak, Kalbar.

Alhamdulillah, I was lucky to be invited in this event, Academic Day of EAP (English Academic Program) from 4^th-5^th January 2014. My friends and I were from international class  of Teaching and Education Faculty. We were trained to be international teacher not only in domestic area but cross other country.

Again, miss Stela Fransisca is my lecture. She was great n humble. She wants us to improve our English in any chances. Make sure you spend enough time to learn English. It will be more effective if you use English while doing interaction. English is a door to go abroad. Many ways to learn English to get appropriate TOEFL Score.

Then, I met miss Nelly, she is a lecture from economy faculty of Tanjungpura University. She passed master in Queensland University of Technology. She is a powerful teacher who can bring us to “show off” like a theatrical in the stage of a real world. “You are in the area of telecommunication of social media developing, everyone has facebook, twitter, Yahoo Messenger, BBM, LINE, etc But, most just talk crap in social media, just few who utilized it to improve their ability in english”

Leadership training was given too in EAP. Whoever you are, be humble. If you want to get your dreams, you must sacrifice, yeah, sacrifice your laziness.

We also get information to get a scholarship. We have to prepare ourselves.
